Start of the Second Semester

It is hard to believe that we are officially at the halfway point of the year. As we cross this milestone of the year, it is a great time to reflect on the past 20 weeks and look ahead and plan to make the most of the coming weeks. It is an exciting time for all of our grades, but especially as our seniors close in on graduation!

Report Cards

Report cards for the 20 week mark should be arriving home by the middle of this week. Parents and students can also check grades through the Schooltool Portal as well. 

Hello, Dolly! 

The excitement is building as West Genesee High School presents Hello, Dolly! Please see the pictures of the cast and crew at the photo gallery in this article. The show will run Thursday, February 6 through Saturday February 8.

Student Recognitions

The following students were winners of Principals Recognition for January: Vincent Calabria, Katie Malcolm, Samantha Stanton, Erin Burns, Kate Reilley, Shannon Flynn, Hannah Craybas, Logan Battaglia,  and Christina Van Allen. 

Optimist Club Speech Winners

The following students: Shannon Flynn, Hannah Craybas, Logan Battaglia, Christina Van Allen represented West Genesee High School in the Camillus Optimist Club Oratorical Contest. The Optimists chose Christina Van Allen and Hannah Craybas from the high school in the top two spots.

Students Succeed at FBLA Competition

Congratulations to the WGHS FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) students on a very successful regional FBLA competition this past Friday at Bryant & Stratton in Syracuse. Twelve students won a total of 19 awards! Great job! Click here for more information and a list of winners.
