Fall Wishes

It is hard to believe that October is almost over and we are talking about events in November. Part of that is the conclusion of the ten weeks and the start of the second ten weeks of school; how did that happen so fast? Enjoy the coming weeks of crispness in the air and fall colors.

Safety Reminder for Driving

Now that we have entered the time of year when it is darker outside at drop-off time, please pay extra attention to your surroundings as you drop students off in the morning. Also a reminder to drop them off in the  circle by the main office and not in the lot near Lowes. The lot near Lowes is our faculty lot and already has a great deal of traffic from staff and buses.

Student Recognitions

I am excited to introduce this new section to my blog. Toward the end of the month I will share with you information about students who have been recognized for various achievements.

For instance, every month high school students are recognized for the following: Seniors of the Month; Students of the Month-Business, Students of the Month-Mathematics; and starting back up in January, Science Students of the Month. To read about these recognitions every month from the website, click here.

Recent Principals Recognition Winners:

This year we have started a new program for high school principals to recognize students. So far the following students have been recognized: Lillian Kirk, Samuel Gallager, Preston Salvatore, Richard Buza, Jessica Parsons, Etana Davis, Samantha Snyder, and Mycah Hunter.

Perfect Score on the ACT- Wow!

Congratulations to senior Eric Leubner Jr. for receiving a perfect score on this ACT exam! #WildcatPride

Students Acknowledge Positive Character

The Varsity Football team recently decided to recognize one of our own high school staff members. Jimbo is a custodian who is so dedicated to our students, staff, and the building. It was so heartwarming to see these young men recognize him for all that he does on a daily basis. Especially as we have been recognizing positive character shown in our building for our students, it is great to see them return the favor!
